high cpu usage on ubuntu kacpi problem solution

hi fellow mortals

i think the 99% CPU usage in ubuntu due to kacpi (– it can’t be solvd using changing the menu.lst file as only one core in DUAL core appers then–) cant be solvd but can be avoided by

COLD BOOTING ur PC / LAPTOP

ie if u hav dual boot with XP dont log in to ubuntu by restart

turn off completly (includin UPS,no power suplly ) and then start again

also remember that kacpi kicks in after stand by or restart so avoid that

this solution works fine for me :)

hope this prob no more hold us from using ubuntu
